Earthling Collective

Four Seasons of Storytelling

To explore connections with(in) the web of life

Join the Earthing Collective -

A space to honor our connection with(in) the web of all beings.

The Earthling Collective is a monthly sharing space to gather with others and share stories of being with the land. This experience is an invitation to build a relationship with the beings that share the land in the same space we call home. We may think we have to travel somewhere special to experience the natural world, but the Earthling Collective is an invitation to simply increase your presence with the space around your place of residence. Whether you have an adjacent patch of woods, a large or small yard, or perhaps only a small walkway to your apartment, you are invited to become curious about the nature beings that share life with us: the air we breath, the sky above, the water from the facet, the wildlife and plants, and all the other countless other non-human beings that are alongside us as our fellow Earthlings.

For 11 months, you are invited to set aside time to be with the land as often and consistently as you can to watch the land transform as the seasons shift. You are invited to step out of the human world of logic, labels, and habitats, across a magic threshold, and into a sanctuary of curiosity, joy, and presence. Even just dedicating a few minutes of intentional time to bring awareness to the colors, sounds, textures, and other sensual pleasures of being in our bodies can cultivate, deeper, and reignite the land as body and body as land relationship. Over time, companionship and intimacy blossom out of consistent practice.

Each month, we will gather virtually to share reflections and stories of being with the land using a sharing circle format. These circles will include periods of both sharing and silence to connect with others. While we often believe nature exists outside of us, this experience invites us to lean into our collective belonging within our ever widening circles. Imagine this experience as four seasons of storytelling to root into the land.

The first virtual gathering will be:

February 19

7:00-8:30 pm

We will meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7pm. Most gatherings will be virtual on Google Meets. We’ll also plan to meet in person a couple of times in a natural forested setting in north-central WV.

Our first gathering will be an introduction to this experience and is open to anyone wanting to learn more. Please join if you are curious or have questions! Complete this form to sign up for the February gathering.

To officially enroll in this experience, you must complete an application by March 15. After which, the portal will close and our cohort container will be rooted to blossom. To sign up, please complete the application by March 15.

This offering is open to anyone that is curious about learning, sensing, and immersing themselves in the natural world. There is no specific cost to participate, but donations will be accepted (suggested donation $0-$50_.

This experience is really self-directed. There is no specific time or practice "requirements", but it is important to develop a committed practice so that our time together is meaningful and aligned. The gift of regular practice is intimacy. You may ask yourself: How often will I be able to set aside time to mindfully connect with my surroundings? How much time can I commit? If you are unable to commit to your own practice of being with the land, please consider not signing up.

This cohort is for seekers looking to dive deeper and explore their inner being using an experiential approach. Experiential approaches rely on reflection, critical analysis, and synthesis. This class is not just a “how to” class, but hinges on experience + post-experience processing.

We’ll co-create this experience together, meaning you are not just a participant, but you are actively developing self-awareness skills that contribute to our circle collective when shared authentically. Meaning, together we all create this experience by what we all contribute. This is not a hierarchical experience where the facilitator feeds information and teaches right from wrong, but each individual contributes to our greater understanding.

As the program develops, each individual carves their own path towards greater self-discovery. Along our journey, we will explore authenticity and transparency within our own beings and also within our circle. We’ll leave behind the small talk and chit chat, and honor our energetic well-being through purposeful conversations and shared silence.

This program is truly a special opportunity to practice deep embodiment by weaving together our individual and collective growth and development.
